Teen Programs (entering grades 7 - 12 )

The Teen Advisory Group will not meet during the summer months of June, July, and August, 2009. Meetings will begin again in September.

Be a Teen Volunteer!

Programs

Purls of Wisdom — Learn to Knit!  Express yourself with knitting.   Free supplies will be provided to teens who register.

2nd & 4th Thursdays 7:00 PM Dorothy Henry Library No registration required.

Just Us Teens Book Club! In June we‘ll be reading City of Ember by DuPrau.  In July, author David Boyle will be here for a writing workshop, and in August, we‘ll be reading Life as We Knew It by Pfeffer.   

3rd Thursdays 7:00 PM Main Library No registration required.

Knitters and Crocheters Group!  Learn from scratch or improve your skills.  Free supplies will be provided to teens who pre-register, beginning June 15.

every Wednesday 1:00 PM Main Library No registration required.

Teen Story Writing Workshop with Author David Boyle! David will help you “tweak” your short story writing. Also, he‘ll help you get your work ready to submit to teen publications.  Space is limited to 20 participants.

Are You as Smart as a Cyber Bully?
You are invited to play “Are You as Smart as a Cyber Bully?”   Learn how to protect yourself in a fun game show format hosted by Detective Dianne D. Rude from the Office of the Sussex County Prosecutor. For kids entering 6th grade and up, and their parents. Limited to 30 kids and adults.
