Be sure and register in
advance for ALL programs! The Summer Reading Club How the Club Works 1. Children from 6 months through 6th grade and Teens entering grades 7 — 12 may register beginning June 29th. A minimum of 15 minutes a day of reading (or being read to), five days a week for 6 weeks is required in order to be a finisher. Read anything you choose: books, magazines, newspapers, e-mails, comics, anything! 2. Come to your nearest branch library and fill out a form with your name, grade, and school. Kids will receive a book bag and a “Reading Record” to record the number of minutes you’ve read each day of the 6 weeks. Teens will receive a free book and a bookmark. 3. Sign-up for individual story times, craft programs, and special events is separate from sign-up for the Summer Reading Club. 4. Grades K-3 will receive a weekly prize. Grades 4–6 can enter a weekly raffle. Program schedule: o Registration: begins June 29
