Book Donations

GUIDELINES FOR DONATING MATERIALS (BOOKS, VIDEOS, ETC.) TO THE SUSSEX COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM

Main Library:  1 bag per person, items in excellent condition, no textbooks or encyclopedias

Dennis Branch:  small donations only, items in excellent condition, no textbooks or encyclopedias

Dorothy Henry Branch:  up to 50 items per Friends book sale, textbooks and encyclopedias accepted only if published within the past five years; for more than one bag, please donate during the week preceding the book sale (for sale dates, call library at 973-827-8095)

Franklin Branch:  items in good or excellent condition, no textbooks or encyclopedias; for large donations, please call in advance
Louise Childs Branch: small donations only, items in excellent condition, no textbooks or encyclopedias

Sussex-Wantage:  items in good or excellent condition with original covers, no textbooks, no condensed books, no magazines, no videos without boxes

THE LIBRARY RESERVES THE RIGHT, AT ANY POINT, TO ADD DONATED MATERIAL TO THE COLLECTION, SELL THE MATERIAL THROUGH A FRIENDS GROUP OR ON ITS OWN, OR DISCARD THE MATERIAL.
