From the Hamburg/Sparta Area
From Rt. 23 or 94, take Rt. 517 south and turn left at light on Main St. in Sparta. At three-way intersection, go straight on to Sparta Rd. (Rt. 605), and continue south for 8 miles. The library will be on the right.
From the Newton Area
From Rt. 206, bear left on Rt. 183 south. Turn left on Linden Ave., right on McKinley St., then left on Brooklyn Rd. Turn left on Sparta Rd. Travel over one lane bridge, the library will be on the left.
Traveling West on Route 80
Take Exit 27B (Netcong, Rt. 183). Follow the ramp and continue past Family Ford. At the yield sign (intersection with Rt. 46), there will be 3 left-turn choices. Take the one marked 206/183 (the least left of the three). Pass the Lake and the Hess gas station. At the next light, bear right up Brooklyn Rd (Rt. 602). Continue for about 1 mile and turn left at the A-frame church onto Sparta Rd (Rt. 605). Continue past Lenape Valley Regional High School, and across the one-lane bridge. The library will be on the left, about 1.5 miles from the church.
Traveling East on Route 80
Take Exit 25 (Rt. 206 North). Pass the first exit and take the exit marked Rt. 183 South/Stanhope. At the second light, turn left onto Linden Ave. Turn right onto McKinley St. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Brooklyn Rd. (Rt. 602), Continue for about 1 mile and turn left at the A-frame church onto Sparta Rd (Rt. 605). Continue past Lenape Valley Regional High School, then across the one-lane bridge. The library will be on the left, about 1.5 miles from the church.
Traveling North on Route 206
At the intersection with Rt. 80, travel under Rt. 80 and down the hill, past Family Ford. At the yield sign (intersection with Rt. 46), there will be 3 left-turn choices. Take the one
marked 206/183 (the least left of the three)
Pass the lake and the Hess gas station. At the first light, bear right up Brooklyn Rd. (Rt.602). Continue for about 1 mile and turn left at the A-frame church onto Sparta Rd (Rt.605). Continue past Lenape Valley Regional High School, and across the one-lane bridge. The library will be on the left about 1.5 miles from the church.
