Working at the library
I work with kids
Who flip their lids
Fer a tiny salary
I’ve been the queen
To toddler and teen
How do I stay so serene
I nap at break and eat chocolate cake
Pretending my woes are fake!

I don’t drink (No!)
I don’t curse (ewww!)
I think I need a nurse!
I try to get thru my day –
Kids with noses that run
Its really not fun
No wonder I act like Mrs. Bouquet!
Even tho my nerves are stewed
Midweek brings my favorite food
Taco salad is keen and fit for a queen
It really improves my mood!
I’m packed to move
I’m in the groove
What else have I got to prove?
My job is done
And its been such fun………………
