Do you have trouble keeping track of when your items are due? Do you have trouble getting books back on time?
Use this handy-dandy service to get advance e-mail alerts about library materials before they are due. This free service is provided by a third party company. Please review their privacy policy if you have any concerns.
NOTE: Sign up each of your family members on a separate account.
How to sign up.
Go to the website - www.libraryelf.com
Click Sign Up.
Step 1:
In the form, enter your e-mail address, create a password and enter your name.
Check the box to agree to the terms, click Create Elf Account.

Step 2:
On the library line, scroll down to NJ and then find Sussex County Library System (beta)
Type in your full barcode number (no spaces!)
Type in your library PIN number (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number).
Click Save.
Step 3:
Select the options to determine when and how often you would like reminders.
Use the cc: if there is another e-mail address or person you would like to have receive the reminders.
Enter a phone no. only if you want to receive text messages.

Click Finish.
Step 4:
Review your information. That’s it!
Repeat Steps 1-4 for each family member.
If you ever want to change your account settings, simply go back to the website, enter your username and password and make the changes.
You can also log in to your account to get a complete list of items that are checked out as well as a list of titles on Request.
